Auditions for new members of
TREASURE VALLEY CHILDREN'S CHORUS
will be held Thursday, January 6, 2011, from 5-8 p.m.
at the Nazarene Church on Alameda in Ontario, OR.
Please come in the doors on the North side
of the building.
Children need to be prepared to sing a song that we will both know.
(For Apprentice Choir something as simple as Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star will work
or a church or school song that they know.
I like to have students auditioning for Advanced or Concert Choir
sing "America the Beautiful" but other songs will do.)
I so enjoyed being able to sit in during the Premier singers' recording session 1/8. Linda and others would offer insights and a variety of instructions to the girls to elicit just the right sound. Although I have little to no training in the area of music, I could tell when the vocalists achieved perfection with a piece. -- My arms were covered with goosebumps and I felt at least two degrees warmer! Thank you Linda and Bruce for all you do. To have someone in our region who is able (and willing!) to provide such professional vocal training is a gift that is indeed appreciated.
